Melaque an Affordable Mexican Vacation!
When did Mexico get so expensive? Go to any well known beach town and you hear that statement all the time. Melaque Mexico, located on the Pacific coast, is the bargain seekers dream come true. You get all the benefits of Mexico beach vacations at half the cost of many other places. Why, you ask? Well, the answer is simple, Melaque and much of the Pacific coast is still “undiscovered” meaning the masses haven’t found it yet! Great news for the traveler looking to escape to a tropical paradise on a budget; services are easily available, hotels, markets, restaurants, internet, and cell service but without the crowds.
In Melaque a delicious meal on the beach, including a margarita (or two) can be found for around fifteen dollars. That’s right, lounge on the beach under an umbrella and get tableside service for $15! Try that in Puerto Vallarta. Need to stretch your food dollar even more? Try one of Melaque’s many taco stands, enjoy a couple tacos, a quesadilla and a cold beer all for under $4 bucks!
Last night along with another couple, we had three margaritas, two beer, two César salads, a shrimp meal, a fish meal, and the total cost was 518 pesos, a whopping $36.44 Dollars!!!
Want to check your email? An hour at an Internet café will set you back about .80 cents. A bag of groceries filled with fresh tropical fruits and vegetables can be had for about $5 dollars.
Melaque hotels and accommodations abound in every price range. Stay in a beautiful boutique hotel, like El Palmar Beach & Tennis Resort, located across the street from the beach, for less than $100 a night. Enjoy the pool, large outdoor shared patio and grilling space or just relax in your oversized suite. El Palmar also offers bikes and boogie boards for your enjoyment.
Everything you need for affordable vacations in Melaque, Mexico!
