Melaque Singers WIN Again!!!!

Melaque singers win Jalisco competition. A group of 12 young singers trained and led by Miguel Angel Pardo Salas of Melaque, Cihuatlan, have again won the state singing competition. Aged 8-12, from the Escuela Pria. Alvaro Obrregon. They practiced 3 hours a day before their first competion, and now 3 hours twice a week. First they won a regional in Autlan, then the statewide in Guadalajara. The group known as "Los Marineritos De La Costa" and their Maestro Miguel deserve a BIG hand!! Miguel, is the the oysterman, singer, at Bigotes. El Palmar Beach & Tennis resort hosted a pool party in their honor. It was a great day, filled with food, fun and music!
